Privacy Policy
Kilo stores your data exclusively on your phone.
Kilo does not require an account or sign-in. Kilo does not use analytics, tracking, telemetry, or third-party SDKs. Kilo does not transmit your data to any server, cloud service, or third party.
What Kilo stores
Kilo may store information that you choose to add in the app, including:
- Name (optional)
- Age (optional)
- Height (optional)
- Bodyweight
- Profile photo (optional)
- Workout data, including lifts, sets, and personal records
All of this data is stored locally on your phone only.
How Kilo uses your data
Kilo uses this information only to power features inside the app on your phone.
- Bodyweight is used only for on-phone calculation of lifting performance standards.
- Workout data is used only to track progress, calculate percentages, and display your lifting history.
- Profile photo is used only within the app and is stored locally.
Kilo does not send this data anywhere.
Photos and camera access
If you choose to set a profile photo, Kilo may request access to your camera or photo library.
This access is used only so you can choose or take a profile photo. That photo is stored locally on your phone and is never transmitted by Kilo.
Device sensors
Kilo may use device sensors such as the accelerometer for visual effects inside the app.
This sensor data is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.
External links
Kilo may include a voluntary feedback link to a Google Form.
If you choose to open that link, it opens in your phone's system browser. Any information you submit there is provided directly by you to Google through that external page, not through Kilo itself.
Kilo does not send that data.
Data sharing
Kilo does not share your data with us or with third parties because Kilo does not transmit your data off your phone.
Data retention and deletion
All data remains inside the app's local storage on your phone.
If you delete the app, its data is deleted from the app's sandbox on your phone. Kilo does not keep any copy of your data anywhere else.
Children's privacy
Kilo does not knowingly collect personal data from children through any server or external service, because Kilo does not collect or transmit user data at all.
Changes to this policy
If Kilo's data practices change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated on this page.
